Camryn's work aims to enhance understanding of Fibrous Dysplasia (FD), a rare genetic disorder that affects the bones and leads to skeletal deformities, fractures, and, most commonly, chronic pain.

Callyan's research focuses on monitoring terrestrial gray seal vocalizations, behaviors, and the impact of anthropogenic noise on these populations in Cape Cod and the Isle of Shoals.

Brienna Bohn ’25 is an animal science major from Norton, Massachusetts. She interned at Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, Massachusetts and received a stipend from COLSA’s SOAR fund to support her experience.

Jacob McDaniel is an environmental sciences: ecosystems major from Bow, New Hampshire. Thanks to COLSA’s SOAR Fund, he was able to accept a summer internship with New Hampshire Turtle Rescue.

Nathalie Pare ’25 is a marine, estuarine and freshwater biology from Lee, New Hampshire, who is working as a whale research intern with support from the Blue Ocean Society and the Granite State Whale Watch Company.

Grace Tomann ’23, ’24G earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and her master’s degree in nutrition from UNH. She is currently working as a clinical information manager and plans to apply medical school during the 2025-26 cycle. 

Morgan Breen ’24 is a zoology major from Easton MA. Morgan is a recipient of the international Research Opportunities Program (IROP) grant and this summer she is doing research at Bambelela Wildlife Rehabilitation in South Africa. Katelyn Young ’23, ’24G earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition: dietetics and her master’s degree in nutrition at UNH. She is now completing her dietetic internship at Cornell University and plans to become a registered dietitian.

Amanda Wittemann ’25 is a neuroscience and behavior major from Claremont, New Hampshire. They are also pursuing two minors: psychology and women and gender studies.

Aizhe Qian is a graduate student earning her degree in the Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics program. She is from Beijing, China and loves UNH's master program for a number of reasons, from location to the quality of the program. 

Kalina Gravel is a Marine, Estuarine and Freshwater Biology major from Vancouver, Washington. She is a SOAR Fund recipient and is interning for New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance this summer.
