Dean's Awards for Distinction
All faculty, staff and students are invited to nominate an individual or team from among COLSA's faculty and staff for the Dean’s Awards for Distinction. Nominees will have made notable contributions to the college and/or the broader community that advanced the standing of COLSA’s teaching, research, and service mission.
Shiva and Elizabeth Nanda Award for Innovation
The Shiva and Elizabeth Nanda Award for Innovation will provide roughly $10,000 in seed funding to a student or students who has an early-stage idea with commercialization potential.
COLSA Community of Teaching and Research Scholars Award
The COLSA Community of Teaching and Research Scholars Award acknowledges a tenured or tenure-track COLSA assistant, associate or full professor who has demonstrated excellence as a classroom, field or laboratory teacher in one or more of the following areas: molecular and cellular life sciences, marine biology or biomedical sciences.
