Dean's Awards for Distinction
All faculty, staff and students are invited to nominate an individual or team from among COLSA's faculty and staff for the Dean’s Awards for Distinction. Nominees will have made notable contributions to the college and/or the broader community that advanced the standing of COLSA’s teaching, research, and service mission.
COLSA Community of Teaching and Research Scholars Award
The COLSA Community of Teaching and Research Scholars Award acknowledges a tenured or tenure-track COLSA assistant, associate or full professor who has demonstrated excellence as a classroom, field or laboratory teacher. The intention of this award is to preserve the unique style of teaching and research embodied by Chuck Walker and to honor the incredible impact he had on generations of COLSA students.
