Pre-Professional Health Advising

Covid-19 Lab

The Pre-Professional Health Advising Office is here to support and encourage current UNH students and alumni as they explore the health professions and become competitive applicants for professional school.

We know there are many different health professions to pick from, and choosing the right one can be difficult, so we offer one-on-one advising for students to discuss the different health professions and determine which is the best fit.  During these sessions we will also review the required prerequisite courses and create academic plans to verify both University and prerequisite courses will be completed on time.

The Pre-Professional Health Advising Office focuses specifically on advising students who are interested in applying to professional programs that focus on human medicine rather than veterinary medicine.  If you are interested in applying to veterinary school in the future, please review the Pre-Veterinary Program page to learn more about Pre-Veterinary Advising.
