COLSA: Why did you choose UNH?

Madison Jeckell: I chose UNH because of how welcome I felt the moment I stepped foot on campus for a tour. I knew right then that this is where I belonged. Their Pre-Professional Health program and the amount of undergraduate research opportunities they have drew me in. I knew that at UNH I was going to be set up for success in my future.

COLSA: How is UNH preparing you to achieve your goals?

Madison: UNH prepared me in so many ways for my future and achieving my goals. With the help of the Pre-Professional Health Program, I was able to get into medical school! The professors at UNH went above and beyond with helping me to prepare for the MCATs and writing my letters of recommendation. UNH also helped me get into undergraduate research as a freshman to help me expand my knowledge, gain new skills and boost my resume.

COLSA: Is there anything you think prospective students interested in a professional health graduate program should know about UNH?

Madison: UNH goes out of their way to help prepare their students for health graduate programs. Whether by helping them find clinical hour opportunities, editing resumes, or compiling letters of recommendation for their students, UNH makes sure you are prepared for your future. They truly do guide you on the path to success.
