Additional Information:

In 2001, Prof. Muscelli helped to launch the UNH-in-Italy program and has since served as the Director.  He oversees the UNH-in-Italy staff, coordinates curricular offerings, fosters local relationships with vendors, and supports students throughout their study abroad experience.

Prof. Muscelli's educational background is in philosophy and psychology. He is also certified as a psychologist and is a practicing psychoanalyst in Ascoli Piceno.  He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in the areas of psychology, philosophy, and the humanities.

Additional Information:

Prof. Fanesi joined the UNH-in-Italy program in 2007 and has taught courses in Italian language, literature, and culture.  

Prior to joining the UNH-in-Italy staff, Prof. Fanesi taught Italian in a public high school in Massachusetts.  She enjoys working with UNH students and fostering their enthusiasm for learning about the Italian culture.

Additional Information:

Prof. Lazzarini began her collaborations with the UNH-in-Italy program in 2013 when she began to offer cooking classes and welcoming students to her countryside hotel.  

Prof. Lazzarini's career is one of constant learning and enthusiasm.  She started her career as a public school teacher and has since worked as a journalist, translator, and business owner.  She is an expert in ethnogastronomy, olive oil, and edible wild herbs.  In 2003, she opened a bed and breakfast where her culinary skills have been recognized with mutlitple awards.

Additional Information:

Diana joined the UNH-in-Italy program in 2008 and provides essential administrative support to the faculty and students.  In 2023, Diana earned her certification as a sommelier (first-level, AIS).

Prior to joining the UNH-in-Italy staff, Diana studied as an exchange student at the University of Dayton and values the opportunity to now work with UNH students supporting their study abroad experience.
