Technician Internship at the UNH Plant Diagnostics LabLillian Walsh '26, from North Andover, MA, is a genetics major with a German minor at UNH. Thanks to COLSA’s SOAR Fund, she was able to accept a summer internship with the UNH Plant Diagnostics Lab (PDL), which helped her gain valuable skills in plant pathology.Learn More -
Studying Oyster Resilience in New Hampshire’s Great BaySelina Cheng ’26 is pursuing her graduate degree in marine biology at UNH. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in environmental sciences and English from the University of Virginia in 2021. At UNH, she’s researching how oysters survive in the challenging conditions of the intertidal zone in New Hampshire’s Great Bay.Learn More -
Turning a Passion for Conservation into a Career in EducationKaylee Finch ’25 earned her degree in wildlife and conservation biology at UNH. She is now the Public Program Educator at the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, where she shares her passion for nature with audiences of all ages.Learn More -
COLSA Alumna Leads Marine Mammal Rescue Efforts on the NH CoastLauren McDowell ’24, earned a degree in marine, estuarine, and freshwater biology with a dual major in sustainability at UNH. She is now the Community Outreach Manager for the Seacoast Science Center Marine Mammal Rescue Program, where she helps rescue seals and other marine mammals along the New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts coast.Learn More
