Liz is an alumna of the University of New Hampshire, with a B.S. in Animal Sciences and a M.S.P.M. in Project Management. Liz is a Senior Lecturer in the Animal Science degree program, primarily teaching courses in the Equine Studies option. Liz enjoys mentoring students in various supervised teaching opportunities during the semester and through a robust equine events internship program during the summer.

Liz has been riding most of her life, focusing on eventing and dressage. She achieved her USDF Bronze Medal, USDF Instructor Certification through 1st Level and the CHA EFM Level 4 certification. She also obtained a certificate of college teaching from UNH. Liz enjoys both classroom and applied teaching experiences. Liz’s mounted teaching principles focus on safety of horse and rider while utilizing form to function with the rider’s position. Her pedagogy has evolved to focus on enhanced student learning activities and creating meaningful connections between theory and application.

Liz also supports the operational functions of the Equine Assisted Services programming at UNH and is the program's minor coordinator.

She is the organizer of the UNH Horse Trials and works to expand outreach programming and clinics schedules at the equine center. Liz is the USEA's Area 1 treasurer and executive board member.

She can be found riding her own horse and is a lifelong learner, actively training and competing throughout the year.
