Hannah's research uses organismal physiology and lab-based experiments to examine on how changes in climate will alter interactions between commercially valuable shellfish and phytoplankton that cause harmful algal blooms. She is also interested applied ecology and how academic research can be used to balance economy, environment, and society in coastal systems.
