Preparing for her future in healthcare
Corinne Fernald is a biomedical science: medical and veterinary sciences major and nutritional sciences minor. She is currently on the pre-med track and plans to apply to medical school.
COLSA: Why did you choose UNH?
Corrine Fernald: I chose UNH because of all the opportunities it has to offer. I knew I was interested in research and jobs in the healthcare field, and UNH has helped me find that.
COLSA: You are planning to attend medical school. How is UNH preparing you to achieve your goals?
Corrine: UNH has helped me grow into the person I am today and provided me so many academic and personal opportunities that have prepared me for a future career in healthcare.
COLSA: Is there anything you think a prospective students interested in a professional health graduate program should know about UNH?
Corrine: There are so many great clubs here that can help you prepare for a graduate program and to meet like-minded students!
