On Her Way to Becoming a Registered Dietitian
UNH nutrition student Caroline Williams

Caroline Williams is a nutrition: dietetics major from Danbury, Connecticut. While excelling in both her studies and extracurricular activities, she has also found time to run two marathons while an undergraduate.

COLSA: Why did you choose UNH?

Caroline Williams: I chose UNH because of the opportunities and resources available to students. As a student at UNH, I feel academically supported by my professors and staff, and there are endless opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities. The campus is also a quick ride away from the beach and the White Mountains, which is also a big reason for choosing UNH. It has been great to explore the surrounding area and to be able to get outside during the semester.

COLSA: During your time at UNH, what are you most proud of?

Caroline: During my time at UNH, I am most proud of taking advantage of activities and opportunities that were offered. I volunteered at the Fueling Station for most of my time here, participated in the UNH-in-Italy study abroad program, played intramural soccer, and took many of the discovery nutrition classes that were offered. I learned so much from each experience!

COLSA: What are you planning to do after graduation?

Caroline: I will be continuing my education here at UNH in the MSDI program. I am excited to gain real-world experience in the dietetics field and to learn more about my career interests. The MSDI program is a perfect fit for me to continue my journey in becoming a Registered Dietitian.
