I am an urban behavioral ecologist and discipline-based education researcher. I am interested in understanding how wildlife alter behavioral patterns to adjust to novel environments and the evolutionary outcomes of behavior changes. My education research focuses on addressing systemic barriers to participation in the field of ecology. I do this through identifying barriers to thriving and the impacts of implementing anti-racist pedagogy in ecology courses.
