Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative supervision and support for the department's faculty
- Promote and advance the department's teaching, research, and service activities
- Manage high-level business matters and processes including budget projections, track revenues and expenses, process and approve travel requests, perform financial analyses and projections
- Collaborate with the Graduate School staff, Deans, and department graduate coordinator to manage and oversee the graduate student admissions process from inquiry to graduation
- Research, assemble data, develop and prepare administrative reports and business correspondence for Department Chair. Strategize with Department Chair to implement the policies of current programs and to facilitate changes to promote new initiatives
- Coordinate department events and schedules; offer expertise regarding departmental policy and procedural matters
Hobbies:
Spending time with my husband and two boys at home on our small family farm, or at an ice rink watching my boys play hockey. When time allows, I'm chipping away at the 48 4000 footers.
