Careers in Animal Science

The undergraduate program in Animal Science is designed to prepare students for a variety of careers by providing strong fundamental and applied education in animal nutrition, reproduction, genetics, physiology, health and livestock animal management. There are on-campus animal facilities available to provide practical experience with agricultural animals. The Animal Science BS is one of many pathways for admission to veterinary school.
