Savannah is still narrowing down her exact research topic but is interested in combining computational modeling with longitudinal real-world field data to understand ecosystem dynamics and inform management decisions. She aims to study the broader network of interactions like nutrient flow, predator-prey interactions, and symbiotic relationships, and how natural and anthropogenic factors affect the greater system. She has a particular interest in studying how temporal and spatial variations in habitat affect animal behavior and how we can apply this towards making better management decisions.
