SUPERVISOR - LABORATORY RESEARCH AND TECHNICAL SERVICES
I work as a research technician in the benthic ecology program at Jackson Estuarine Laboratory which emphasizes basic and applied
ecology of invertebrates, including those living in estuarine and shallow continental shelf habitats.
Recent and current projects include oyster reef restoration, bottom habitat and oyster reef mapping through the use of underwater
video, fluorometry, biofouling and bioextraction. Our laboratory also involves students and local volunteers in marine research.
