UNH TRP welcomes PATH-credentialed instructors Madeline Cicatelli MS OT, ‘18, ‘19G to the UNH Therapeutic Riding team.  Maddie, a licensed occupational therapist and certified therapeutic riding instructor, was first exposed to the power of equine therapy as a UNH TRP student.

The Therapeutic Riding Program at the University of New Hampshire accepts both children and adults with physical, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities to participate in classes both on and off the horse.  Classes are facilitated by UNH students gaining hands-on training in the field of therapeutic riding. More information for clients and families about UNH’s Therapeutic Riding Program can be found here

The UNH Therapeutic Riding Program has been offered at the University of New Hampshire since 1989, where it serves as a valuable hands-on learning environment for students interested in the therapeutic riding field. The program utilizes the department's horses, 40-stall barn, and the W.C. Skoglund indoor arena facilities on the UNH campus in Durham.  Questions regarding the Therapeutic Riding Program can be directed to equine.therapies@unh.edu.
