Cross Country Schooling

Due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UNH Cross Country Course will remain closed to guests for an indefinite period. Please check back here or visit the UNH Equine Program Facebook page for future updates to this status. Thank you for bearing with us as we work to keep our campus and local community safe.

The UNH Cross Country Course is available for schooling, by appointment only, at certain times of the year. Generally we open the course immediately following the spring horse trials (weather and footing allowing) and it will remain open through Labor Day weekend. The course will close from the Tuesday after Labor Day until immediately after the fall horse trials, when we will reopen for the remainder of October. The course may occasionally close for special events or maintenance during these months.  When open, appointments may be scheduled by emailing XC Schooling Coordinator Chris Keim at or by phone at 603-862-1174. In your message, please include your name, the day/time you wish to come, and how many riders you are bringing.  Confirmation of your appointment is usually completed within 24 hours.  Weekend and Monday appointments must be scheduled by 4 PM on Friday.
