Water Quality Analysis Laboratory

The NH WRRC is now under the new leadership of Adam Wymore, an associate professor in the UNH College of Life Sciences and Agriculture (COLSA). Dr. Wymore began his new appointment as director of the NH WRRC on Sept. 1, 2024 taking over for UNH professor emeritus Bill McDowell, who served as director starting in 2000 and retired from UNH in 2023. The NH WRRC is well poised to continue and expand its legacy of innovation, advancing the monitoring and management of one of New Hampshire’s most important natural resources. Read More

Facilities: The laboratory is now located in the completely renovated James Hall, which has maintained its former architectural character with major upgrades in its structure. James Hall is the first LEED certified building on the UNH campus. WQAL laboratory facilities consist of the Research Support Equipment Room, Analytical Instrument Lab, Research Shared Lab, Acid Wash Room with an acid washing dishwasher, two cold rooms, and the non-rock prep room.
