My research seeks to produce a comprehensive phylogeographic study of the Nudibranch Genus Tenellia. Tenellia spp. are found in temperate estuarine waters worldwide, and there is most likely more than 1 species. Additionally, phylogenetic techniques will be employed to place Tenellia within an appropriate Family (Tergipedidae) definitively, while also resolving the family with new specimens and data based on three genes: CO1, 16S, and H3. Select specimens will then be added into a large Clade of Nudibranchia, which will be resolved using the same three genes.
