Lori Tyler Gula, PhD, is the communications manager for the New Hampshire Agricultural Experiment Station and an affiliate assistant professor of education at the University of New Hampshire. Previously she was a media relations officer at UNH and a newspaper editor and reporter. She is a member of the Association for Communication Excellence (ACE) in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Life and Human Sciences, and the National Science of Science Writers. She is the recipient of the ACE 2020 Pioneer Award and the 2020 Outstanding Dissertation Award. She has served ACE as the chair of the Media Relations and Writing Learning Community, and as a member of the 2021 National Impact Writing and Design Team, 2021 Annual Conference Committee, and 2020 Annual Conference Committee. At UNH, her service includes the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee in UNH College of Life Sciences and Agriculture, 2021 Leaders Institute with the UNH Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program; co-chair, UNH President’s Commission on the Status of Women; 21-Day Racial Equity Habit-Building Challenge; and the UNH Sustainability Peer Education Program.
