Christina “Chris” Keim is an avid and accomplished equestrian with competitive results in the eventing, dressage, and show jumping arenas, as well as in competitive trail. She is a former area eventing champion and has had horses finish in the top ten for national year end rankings with the USEA. On her former mount Weltinus, Chris earned her USDF Bronze Medal, was a regional champion in the freestyle, and rode with top trainers such as Kathy Connelly, George Williams and Nancy Later. More recently, Chris has trained extensively with Rachel Greene Lowell, Verne Batchelder and Denny Emerson, who introduced her to the sport of competitive trail/endurance riding. A graduate of the United States Pony Club (HA, Squamscott), Chris remains active with this organization as a National Examiner and clinician. Additionally, she sits on the Board of Directors for the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association as the Regional President for Zone 1, Region 2. Chris is a graduate of the USDF "L" judge's training program and holds her USEF “r” Connemara judge’s card. She earned a Masters in Education from the University of New Hampshire. Chris currently rides and competes her Connemara cross, JEF Anna Rose, and her Thoroughbred cross, Liatris.
