Anissa joined UNH in January 2017. Before coming to New Hampshire, Anissa worked as a Research Scientist at the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre in Ontario Canada for five years conducting applied research for greenhouse ornamental and vegetable production systems.
I am interested in biological control of plant diseases and the role microbes and their metabolites play in plant health, yield and quality. My research explores interactions between beneficial microbes, plants and the environment to identify of best practices for integrating biocontrol into horticultural production systems.
I am always on the lookout for new graduate students to join the lab. If you are excited by plants, microbes and agriculture please email me your CV and a brief description of your background and interests.
