Yu(Patrick) Zang, a graduate student of Dr. Brito, is from a northeastern coastal city Qingdao, China. He accepted the undergraduate education from the University of Kentucky and got the master degree from the West Virginia University. His master thesis focused on the effects of macronutrient supplementation on the health and milk production performance in peripartial dairy cows. Currently, he is interested in studying the utilization of rumen-protected amino acids in the typical American dairy cow diets.
