Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program

PEPCK is a key enzyme in liver gluconeogenesis and glyceroneogenesis. Our work demonstrates that flame retardant exposure reduces liver PEPCK and disrupts lipid metabolism.

The Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Biomedical Sciences (MCBS) offers the Master of Science degree in nutritional sciences; and in conjunction with animal science faculty in the Department of Biological Sciences, a Ph.D. in animal and nutritional sciences. MCBS also offers a post graduate internship in dietetics.
