Community and Environmental Planning

Welcome to the Community and Environmental Planning program.

A CEP student should have an appreciation for communities designed for people to live, work and play. Our students study a diverse and interconnected number of topics including perspectives in community development, fundamentals of land use planning, community economics, and natural resource conservation issues. If you want to help communities deal with problems associated with the intersection of our built and natural environments, such as economic development, transportation, affordable housing, green space and local agriculture, than a degree in Community and Environmental Planning may be the right fit for you.
