Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Experiential learning is a vital component of the undergraduate educational experience.  Our department offers students a variety of ways to move beyond the classroom and teaching laboratory into the real world of the conduct of original scientific research.  MCBS faculty are committed to mentoring undergraduate students who seek to gain new experiences, acquire new skills, better understand the scientific process, as well as advancing a possible career as a researcher in one of the life sciences.
