Changing your Major to Biomedical Science

Initial Admission to the major as a First-year or Transfer Student

Students entering the University as first-year or transfer students may declare Biomedical Science as part of the UNH admission process.

Declaring the Major as a Continuing Student within COLSA

We welcome an opportunity to talk with you about your interests and to discuss whether this program matches your academic and professional goals.  All students interested in applying to the major must fill out a web form that will be sent to appropriate undergraduate  program coordinator, prior to gaining admission to the major. After acompleting the web form, you will need to complete the change of program process through Blackboard/Webcat Services.  The status of your request to change majors can be found in WebCat where you initially requested to change majors.

The web form options are: Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Microbiology, or Medical and Veterinary Sciences.

Non-COLSA Students

If you are a student within another college at UNH (i.e., COLA, CHHS, CEPS, WSBE or UNHM), fill out the web form that will be sent to the appropriate undergraduate program coordinator, for review.  After acompleting the web form, you will need to complete the change of program process through Blackboard/Webcat Services.  The status of your request to change majors can be found in WebCat where you initially requested to change majors.
