Now is the time to start planning for your graduation. You should understand that it is your responsibility to see that all major and university requirements will be completed. Below is a list of things to remember:

FILE AN INTENT-TO-GRADUATE

Check the Registrar's Website for deadlines to file.

DISCOVERY REQUIREMENTS

Enclosed is a copy of your Degree Analysis. Unfulfilled requirements are coded "N" in the left hand column of the printout. Current registrations are coded "R" in the right hand column. Passing grades are required for current registrations, otherwise credit for the requirement will be deleted. Check the Time and Room Schedule or Course Registration Information under UNH Home Page, Academics for a listing of Discovery Program courses.

UNIVERSITY WRITING REQUIREMENTS

Four writing intensive courses are required. ENGL 401 (or equivalent), a 600-level (or above) course, and a course in each of the student's majors are specifically required. Check the Time and Room Schedule or Course Registration Information under UNH Home Page, Academics for a list of Writing Intensive courses.

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS

Consult with your advisor to ensure completion of your major requirements and verify Discovery/general education major restrictions.

REQUIRED CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE/CUM. CREDIT HOURS

You will need a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00 and at least 128 cumulative credit hours for a Bachelor's Degree, 2.00 and at least 64 credit hours for an Associate's Degree and an Associate in Science Degree to graduate (NOTE: Some major programs require more than 128 credit hours for a Bachelor's).

GRADES/HONORS AT GRADUATION

No grade changes can be made after your graduation.

REPEATED COURSES

You must file a repeated course form with the Registrar's Office during the semester in which you are repeating. Please note you will lose credits for the earlier course if you received a passing grade in it.

TRANSFER CREDITS

If you plan to transfer any credits to UNH from another institution, please complete the Transfer Credit Prior Approval Form available in the Registrar's Office. This form only applies to future course work. When course work is completed send an official transcript to the Graduation Office.

SENIOR RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT

Senate Rule 6.22 Residence: Students who are candidates for a Bachelor's Degree must attain the last one-fourth of their credits (32 credit hours) toward the degree in residence (at UNH) unless granted permission by the Academic Standards and Advising Committee to transfer part of this work from other accredited institutions. Petitions for you to request a waiver of Senior Residency Requirement are available in the Registrar's Office.

INCOMPLETE GRADE

An incomplete received in the final semester of coursework will exclude you from graduating in the semester for which you have filed an intent.
