Freshman English Requirement

Students may satisfy the Freshman English requirement of the University in the following ways:

1. Completion of a Freshman English composition course or its equivalent at another college or university, or by completion of the UNH Freshman English course.
   
   
2. Completion of Communications 209, Expository Writing and Reading and Communications 212, Technical Writing courses in the Thompson School of Applied Science, UNH.
   
   
3. Advanced Placement credit for Freshman English.
   
   

NOTE: COLLEGE LEVEL EXAMINATION PROGRAM CREDITS DO NOT FULFILL THE FRESHMAN ENGLISH REQUIREMENT.
